Metal corrugated expansion joints are flexible connection components used in pipeline or equipment systems. They consist of one or more metal corrugated tubes, end pipes/flanges, supports, and other accessories (such as diversion tubes, tension rods, hinge plates, etc.) 
Key features:
1. High temperature and high pressure resistance: This is the most significant advantage compared to rubber expansion joints. It can operate in temperatures of several hundred degrees or even thousands of degrees (with insulation layer) and under pressures of several megapascals.
2. Corrosion resistance: The main material is usually stainless steel (such as 304, 316L) or other corrosion-resistant alloys, which can adapt to various harsh chemical media.
3. High reliability and long service life: With correct selection and installation, it has a very long fatigue life (i.e., the number of displacement cycles it can withstand).
4. Wide application range: It can be used from ultra-low temperature liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen to high-temperature flue gas and hot air, from high vacuum to high-pressure conditions.
