Free Double Metal Bellows Expansion Joint, Stainless Steel Corrugated Compensator for Pipeline Thermal Movement
Free Double Metal Bellows Expansion Joint (Double Free Type Corrugated Compensator) The free double metal bellows expansion joint is composed of two corrugated bellows and an intermediate connecting pipe. It is specially engineered to absorb large axial thermal displacement of piping systems. There are no tie rods on this structure to withstand pressure thrust. All pressure thrust generated by internal medium pressure will be transferred to the fixed pipe anchors. Therefore, sufficient anchor strength must be guaranteed during pipeline design.
This compensator can effectively absorb thermal elongation of pipelines, reduce vibration and thermal stress, and protect pipes, valves and related equipment from deformation and damage. It is widely adopted in thermal power, petrochemical, metallurgy, municipal heating, water treatment and industrial flue gas pipelines.
Material options include SS304, SS316L, SS321 for bellows. End connections support flange connection or butt welding connection. We can customize working pressure, temperature range, dimension, wall thickness and corrugation quantity according to customer drawings and technical specifications. All products are manufactured in accordance with EJMA standard and will pass strict inspection before delivery.
