A piping system with higher sealing requirements can benefit from welding as it can reduce leakage points. 
In situations where space is limited and it is difficult to install flange bolts. 
The working condition involves strong medium corrosion and the flange connection is prone to damage. 
Advantages and Disadvantages: 
Advantages: Excellent sealing performance, more compact structure, usually lower manufacturing cost, and potentially better fatigue resistance. 
Disadvantages: Installation and disassembly are rather difficult and require welding operations; it is inconvenient to replace the compensator individually.

According to the displacement direction of the piping system (axial, lateral, angular)
