The expansion joint incorporates a precision-formed corrugated bellows manufactured from premium stainless steel grades, including AISI 304, 304L, 316, 316L, and 321. This material selection ensures outstanding resistance to corrosion, oxidation, pitting, and stress corrosion cracking, even when exposed to aggressive media, high-velocity fluids, or elevated temperatures up to 800°C depending on grade selection. The all-metal wetted design eliminates the risk of leakage associated with elastomeric seals or packing-based joints, making it ideally suited for safety-critical and high-reliability applications.
Weld-End Connection Design
Equipped with precision-machined welding ends in either carbon steel or matching stainless steel materials, these expansion joints are designed for permanent installation through butt-welding or socket-welding processes. The welded configuration offers distinct advantages over flanged joints, including a more streamlined and compact footprint, reduced weight, elimination of gasket maintenance, and enhanced structural rigidity under high-pressure or high-thermal cycling conditions. The weld-end design also minimizes stress concentrations at connection points, contributing to extended service life.
Large Size Capability
Specifically engineered to accommodate large-diameter piping systems, this expansion joint is available in sizes ranging from DN200 (8 inches) up to DN3000 (120 inches) or larger upon custom request. The large-size design incorporates reinforced bellows profiles and optimized convolution geometry to ensure uniform stress distribution and stable performance across the full diameter range.
Superior Movement Absorption
The corrugated bellows design enables effective compensation for axial compression and extension, lateral deflection, and angular rotation, either individually or in combination. This multi-directional movement capability protects connected equipment—such as pumps, turbines, compressors, and heat exchangers—from damaging forces induced by thermal growth, pipeline settlement, or seismic events.
High Pressure & Temperature Ratings
