PTFE lined rubber expansion joint
Product Description
The rubber flexible joint is made of an internal lining of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) material, which combines flexibility, sealing performance and strong corrosion resistance. The PTFE inner lining can withstand strong acids, strong alkalis, organic solvents and high-temperature oils, preventing the rubber from being eroded by the medium. It mainly absorbs pipeline vibrations (with an efficiency of 85%), reduces noise, compensates for thermal expansion and contraction, equipment settlement or stress deformation caused by earthquakes, and the life of the fluorine rubber material is three times longer than that of ordinary rubber, requiring no special maintenance and reducing downtime costs.
The inner lining of the four-fluorine rubber flexible joint is 2-3mm thick polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), forming a dense anti-corrosion barrier, which can resist 98% concentrated sulfuric acid, 40% other strong corrosive media. The main material is ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) or fluorine rubber (FKM), providing high elasticity and anti-aging performance. The flange ends are forged from carbon steel or 304/316L stainless steel flanges, in accordance with ANSI/DIN standards.
