2. Working Principle

This compensator relies on the excellent elastic deformation performance of stainless steel corrugated elements to realize pipeline displacement compensation. In the long-term operation of industrial pipelines, medium temperature changes, environmental temperature difference, equipment operation vibration and installation reserved errors will cause axial stretching and compression, tiny lateral deviation and angular deflection of the pipeline. When the pipeline produces thermal expansion and contraction displacement, the metal bellows will elastically stretch or compress along the pipeline axis to fully absorb and offset the axial displacement. Meanwhile, the flexible corrugated structure can tolerate a certain range of lateral comprehensive displacement and micro angular displacement, effectively releasing the concentrated thermal stress and mechanical stress inside the pipeline.
